Cheesy Bones

Recipe By: Otis
Categories: Breads & Things

3 ounces cream cheese
3 ounces grated cheddar cheese
1 egg
3 tablespoons plain soy protein isolate
salt to taste
garlic or other spices to taste

This is not my original recipe, so I can't take credit for it.

Mix everything together with your hands. Knead until it's like play-doh. Form into thin "snakes" a few inches long. The thinner you make these, the crispier they'll be. Lay out on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 6 minutes, turning about half way through. Cool on wire racks.

I also did a test batch as a small pizza crust and made some in the shape of a breadstick. They both turned out great. For this to work as a pizza crust, you would need to bake it until the bottom is golden and then flip it over and add toppings
