Cheddar Pepper Biscuits

1 cup Atkins bake mix -- sifted
1/2 cup protein powder -- sifted
2 teaspoons baking powder -- sifted
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup cheddar cheese -- grated
1 tablespoon jalapeno -- diced
3 tablespoons butter -- melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
water if needed
Preheat oven to 350f and spray
a non-stick cookie sheet with cooking
spray. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients to form a wet dough.
If it's too
dry/stiff, mix in more water as needed(think of wet biscut dough).
Spoon onto prepared sheet in 6 or 12 mounds.
Bake until browned on top - approxinately 20 minutes.
When done baking, brush with more melted butter, if desired.
I did not find salt necessary with the bake mix.
