Recipe By: Carole
Categories: Beef/Pork
2 jars 'EMBASA' 'SALSA MEXICANA' -- (12 oz)
2/3 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
4 tablespoons Brown sugar substitute 'Sugar Twin'
2 teaspoons Salt
4 teaspoons Chili powder
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce -- (hot pepper sauce - 1/2 to 1)
1 dash garlic powder -- (1 to 2)
Combine all ingregients in a quart jar with a plastic lid.
(It will corrode a metal lid) & shake well. GREAT over any
meat or as a marinade. It can also be poured over cream
cheese & used as a hors d'oeuvre with veggies,etc.
NOTE:The sauce as written has a "bite" to it. Extra chili
powder or hot pepper sauce can be added if you like it hotter.
If you can't find the jars of Salsa Mexicana, 3-7oz cans of
the Salsa Mexicana can be used. The canned Salsa is hotter
than the jar Salsa, so be careful when adding extra chili
powder or hot pepper sauce.
